Adrian Foster – Biography

Adrian Foster is an organist, composer, and electronic musician based in Montréal, Québec (Canada). He is the co-founder and co-artistic director of Earth World Collaborative, a creative force generating new works of music, art, film, and literature through collaboration. He is actively involved with the collaborative as a composer, organist, and producer of immersive story concerts and film projects. 

Adrian is dedicated to promoting and interpreting new music and exploring the sonic possibilities of pipe organs and modular synthesizers. In addition to his work with Earth World, recent projects include collaborations with Syntheus Collective (a multidisciplinary group of filmmakers, musicians, and digital artists exploring the relationship between humans, machines, nature, and artificial intelligence) and an experimental modular pipe-organ project LIMINARE, currently in development in collaboration with organbuilder Alexander Ross.

Adrian’s work as a composer includes electroacoustic compositions, soundtracks, liturgical projects, installations, and sound design. His compositions are inspired primarily by ambient, minimalist, and electronic sound worlds.
