Lumen de Lumine

Gustavo Delgado Parra's Lumen de Lumine, composed in memory of a friend, is an exquisite work of faith and remembrance. This choral requiem is scored for SATB chorus, strings, and a basso continuo part which can be played at the organ or harpsichord. Especially notable is the composer's masterful and poetic adaptation of Latin texts from the Missa pro Defunctis. The performance duration is circa 16 minutes.
