By Jared Isaac Aragón. Music for organ solo.

Description

Jared Isaac Aragón writes of this piece:

This is my second organ work inspired by water. The Zuni People of New Mexico have a pantheon of spirits called katsinam, or koko in the Zuni language.

According to their Zuni belief system, the koko live in a village at the bottom of the lake Koluwala:wa in Arizona. Annually, they leave to spend time in the Zuni villages. There they bless the people with gifts of crops, rain, and dances.
