Description

Jared Isaac Aragón writes:

The pueblo people of New Mexico tell a story of a mighty ancient civilization who built a massive city with everything needed to live a good life. The inhabitants of the city, however, had much trouble leading their everyday lives because of one thing that was missing: a place to worship and carry out their rituals. They had no knowledge of how to build this necessary structure until one day the spirits descended and instructed the inhabitants of the city to build a kiva, an underground sacred space central to the Pueblo cultures of the Southwest.
